I have been using OSX since 2000 and love it! I work on a PowerBook and have for the last ten years. I highly recommend portable computers to those who have even an inkling that they might want to take their computer with them. The prices on the new MacBooks are very competitve and these portables are great for anyone except those who are providing high-end audio and video services. Gotta love the newest MacBook Air (the world’s thinnest notebook).

I repair Power Macintosh G4s and newer with System 9 and later. If you do not currently own a G4 or G5 Macintosh, you should consider trading up to an Intel Mac. See my Mac blog for the General Requirements for Leopard OSX 10.5.
